"I rented energy — why is my transfer still failing?" One of the most common questions. Go through this checklist and 90% of issues will be found:
1. Confirm energy actually arrived
- Check "Order History" — is the status "Completed"?
- If it's "Processing/Failed", energy hasn't arrived yet; wait and try again
2. Double-check the address
- The transfer target must be exactly the same address you rented energy for (starts with T, 34 characters, watch capitalization)
- Wrong address = energy sent to someone else
3. Did you use an exchange address?
- Binance/OKX addresses are shared custody addresses; energy won't take effect there — see "Why You Can't Buy Energy to a CEX Wallet"
4. Keep a little TRX as a fallback
- When energy or bandwidth runs out, the network burns TRX to cover it
- Keep 1–5 TRX in the wallet to avoid "insufficient balance" errors
5. Bandwidth
- Low bandwidth shows "BANDWIDTH NOT ENOUGH"
- Usually solved automatically by the network burning a little TRX
6. Asset and network
- You're sending USDT on TRC20
- The wallet is on TRON mainnet (not ERC20/BEP20)
